Prestwold Hall is the historic home of the Packe family and the heart of Christmas celebrations for almost 400 years. Today, the Packe-Drury–Lowe family are delighted to share their home for your Christmas party.
Whether you’re celebrating the festive season with loved ones or colleagues, we have lots of versatile spaces for you to eat, drink and be merry. From the elegant Dining Room to the grand Entrance Hall, each space is transformed with the help of atmospheric lighting and Christmas décor.
Fine dining
The Dining Room provides a magnificent space to enjoy a private Christmas dinner with your guests.
You will have free rein of Head Chef Marc Billings’ culinary expertise and imagination to design your festive menu. Using only seasonal produce and the highest-quality ingredients, our chefs will create showstopping menus.
Prestwold Hall has been delighting guests with delicious Christmas menus for over 30 years. While we’re a historic venue, we never stand still and always adopt the latest food styles, so you can be sure of the finest dining experience this Christmas.
Food
A delicious Christmas dinner is one of the things we all look forward to at this festive time of year. When you book your Christmas party at Prestwold Hall, you know that the centrepiece of your event will be utterly delectable.
With carefully crafted Christmas menus for you to choose from, we make the party planning process easy. If you’d prefer, you can discuss your catering preferences with our Events Team and we’ll happily put together a bespoke menu to make your Christmas extra special.
Drink
Find the perfect accompaniment for your chosen menu amongst our wide range of drinks. We have an extensive list of wines from around the world, as well as all your favourite spirits and soft drinks.
If you’d prefer something a little more ‘unique’, we can design bespoke Christmas cocktails for your party and source exceptional local beers and ales. Whatever your tipple, the Team at Prestwold will pull out all the stops to ensure you won’t go thirsty!
Stay the night
When you book your Christmas party at Prestwold Hall, you can also hire our guest bedrooms, available exclusively for you and your party members.
Extend your celebration into the night with nightcaps in our late lounge. Once your guests have had their fill of delicious food and drink, it’s off to bed in one of ten magnificent bedrooms.
Wake in the morning to spectacular views of the park and gardens, possibly even dusted with snow if the weather is right, before joining us downstairs for a delicious breakfast to start the day right.

Where to find us
Prestwold Hall is easy to get to by road, rail or air thanks to its proximity to the M1, East Midlands airport and Loughborough train station. You can even get to us in just 1.5 hours from London.
This makes us the ideal location for Christmas celebrations in the Midlands, or for those further afield to head to the Leicestershire countryside to celebrate Christmas in the luxury of a traditional stately home.
